Since I was very young I loved wasting my time reading Mad Magazine and drawing all of the characters. My mother told me I’d go blind reading that stuff. Not wanting to go blind I decided to become an engineer by enrolling in a local college and buying a Hewlett Packard scientific calculator, complete with a belt strap. As a belt strapping H-P calculating engineering student I worked my way through college over the summer at Jackson New Jersey’s Great Adventure Theme Park doing caricatures on unsuspecting guests. During my engineering career, I have been furnished with uniforms, Faber-Castell pens, desk phones, computers, various five wheeled, height adjustable, lumbar supporting office chairs all housed in a sea of cubicles. When people discovered I could do caricatures, they moaned, “oh no not another caricature artist!” They humored me with requests for caricatures of co-workers who were retiring, leaving for another job, or for people they just wanted to scare. I am is also an active member of the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA). I hope you enjoy the work I created here and be sure to visit my blog for the latest news and postings.
